Mackerel Pate
  • Serves 8

  • CALORIES: 48 per serving
  • 2 mackerel fillets (skin removed and flaked)
  • 4oz/113g virtually fat free fromage frais
  • 4oz/113g Low Fat cottage cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to season
  1. Blend cottage cheese and fromage frais until smooth.
  2. Add flaked fish and blend again.
  3. Put into individual dishes and chill.
  4. Serve with a twist of lemon and either bread, dry toast fingers, celery, carrot sticks or crispbreads.
