Liver & Savoury Onions

  • 1lb/454g lambs liver, thinly sliced
  • 1lb/454g onions, thinly sliced into rings
  • Fry Light
  • 2 rashers low fat bacon, trimmed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester Sauce
  • Salt and black pepper
  1. Spray a non-stick pan with Fry Light and gently cook the sliced onions until soft but not brown.
  2. Add the chopped bacon, tomato ketchup, salt and pepper and cook for a further 3 minutes. Stir in the Worcester Sauce.
  3. Toss the liver into the mixture and cook gently for about 10 minutes - ensure it is cooked through but avoid over-cooking to prevent the liver becoming tough. Serve with vegetables of your choice.
