Tuna Steak with Lime

ingredients
  • 4 x 6oz/168g fresh tuna steaks
  • Zest of one fresh lime
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • few sprays of Fry Light
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice plus some for decoration
  • 1 lime, sliced, for decoration
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh corainder for decoration
  • Black pepper
method
  1. Trim the skin from the tuna steaks, rinse and pat dry
  2. In a small bowl mix together the lime zest, Fry Light, cumin, ground coriander and pepper to make a paste
  3. Spread the paste thinly on both sides of the tuna.
  4. Heat a non-stick griddle pan or ridged frying pan until hot and press the tuna steaksonto the pan to seal them. Lower the heat and cook for 4 minutes, turn and cook for another 4 minutes.
  5. Drain on Kitchen paper and transfer to serving plates. sprinkle with lime juice and chopped fresh coriander leaves. Serve with slald and slices of lime
