Fruity Bread Loaf
  • Serves 8
  • UNITS: 4 per serving
  • FAT POINTS: per serving (bread & fruit from allowance)
  • CALORIES: 103 per serving
  • 6 slices slimmers wholemeal bread, crumbled
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 desertspoons sugar substitute
  • 2 teaspoons mixed spice
  • 6oz/168g mixed dried fruit
  • A few sprays of Fry Light one calorie oil
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4.
  2. Grease a 1lb/454g loaf tin with Fry Light spray and line base with greaseproof paper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together and spoon into the prepared tin. Level the top. Bake for approximately 40 minutes until firm to the touch.
  4. Remove from the tin and slice. Serve warm.
