Savoury Cauliflower

  • 4oz/113g fresh cauliflower florets
  • 1 small onion, chopped finely
  • 1oz/28g mushrooms, chopped finely
  • Quarter pint/15oml chicken stock
  • 1oz/28g lean ham, chopped
  • 1oz/28g grated half fat cheese
  1. Cook the cauliflower for 5 minutes in boiling water or steam gently until just crisp. Place in an ovenproof dish
  2. Cook the chopped onion and mushroom in a the chicken stock until tender.
  3. Drain well and spinkle over the cauliflower with the chopped ham.
  4. Top with the grated cheese and brown under the grill.
